Core Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet shoppers warmly and ensure a positive checkout experience.
• Grocery Bagging: Packed customer purchases to ensure balanced bags, preventing damage to fragile items and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Floor Maintenance: Collected shopping carts from parking lot to maintain store accessibility and improve customer convenience.
• Store Upkeep: Cleaned spills and maintained cleanliness at front end, contributing to a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
• Returns: Return unwanted items left at the registers back to their proper aisles.
• Assistance: Help customers carry groceries to their vehicles when requested

Requirements & Skills

• Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to ~ 50 lbs), and work outside in varying weather conditions to collect carts.
• Communication: A friendly demeanor and ability to understand and follow instructions from cashiers, front-end supervisors, and management.
• Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting and adapt to changing daily tasks

• Actively participated as a representative of PIC at events such as fund-raisers and school fairs.
• Acted as an ambassador for PIC, promoting the mission and facilitating communication about our work.
