Company Overview: Precision Castparts Corp. is the market leader in manufacturing large complex structural investment castings, airfoil castings, forged components, aerostructures and highly engineered, critical fasteners for aerospace applications. In addition, they are the leading producer of airfoil castings for the industrial gas turbine market. They also manufacture extruded seamless pipe, fittings and forgings for power generation and oil and gas applications; commercial and military airframe aerostructures.
Inside Sales Account Mgr./Shipping Specialist for a total of 20 customers serving as the primary point of contact for escalation with further escalation to direct management or senior management if necessary as well as attending any regularly scheduled meetings. Responsible for reviewing/approving new purchase orders/change orders for my entire customer base as well as order entry, schedule entry/management and order routing. Additional responsibilities included releasing shipments for all customer accounts including my customer base. Working with shipping/export compliance team and freight forwarders to ensure product was collected timely.
Duties include reviewing and accepting new purchase orders/change orders.
Order entry and purchase order routing.
Entering and maintaining customer schedules.
Working with planning, operations team and purchasing team to provide commits for raw material delivery, and internal lead time for completion.
Working with QA Engineering team as needed to ensure that customer’s orders are routed in accordance with proper specifications with drawing and latest revisions obtained.
