My responsibilities at this worksite includes all around office duties as: multiple phone line system, scheduling patients, intaking patient information, verifying insurance, Cash Handling.
As for specific optician work my responsibilities include pretesting patients(OCT as well), fitting patients with glasses, insurance knowledge as eligibility and patient benefits. My experience with that includes in IEHP, VSP, Eyemed, Spectera and davis vision. Going over the best fitted lens and frame options for our patients. Packing glasses and final inspection of glasses before dispensing as well as dispensing. Measuring glasses with lensometer and contact lens training.
