Joanna Beason

This is the position that I currently hold and I have worked in many different departments in this position. My primary role is to assist customers with sizing, working the register, and assist people in finding whatever it is they are looking for in the store. I often have to interact with people from various backgrounds, some including those who do not speak much or any English. This role has taught me to how to communicate with those who come from different backgrounds, while still remaining respectful.

My main role in this position was to take orders and handle the register. This was my first job after high school and I learned to mange my time and to communicate clearly.

In my time in this role and in the club, I learned the importance of community and how that can impact mental wellbeing. Connecting with people in doing community service allowed to fall in love with giving back as much as I can. The art of posting appropriate content to represent yourself and your organization is also a skilled that I have learned and use everyday.
