I work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand market and consumer demands, translating this information into new products or improvements to existing ones.

- Research and Innovation: I coordinate market research to identify the latest trends and innovations in the cosmetics and fragrance industry. I lead the research and development (R&D) process, seeking new formulas, ingredients, and technologies that can be incorporated into our products. I collaborate with perfumers, chemists, and other experts to create high-quality, effective, and innovative fragrances and products.

- New Product Development: I supervise the development of new products, from the concept phase to the final formulation, ensuring each stage complies with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. I work with the design and packaging team to ensure that products are visually appealing and functional. I manage product testing for stability and safety, ensuring our new cosmetics and fragrances are effective and safe for consumption.

- Project Management and R&D Team: I coordinate cross-functional product development teams, including scientists, designers, and suppliers, to ensure projects progress efficiently. I set deadlines and budgets for each project, ensuring they are met without compromising product quality. I track the progress of each project and make adjustments as needed to keep everything on schedule and within the planned budget.

- Quality Control and Compliance: I ensure that all our products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with local and international regulations. I supervise stability, efficacy, and safety testing to ensure all products are safe and effective.

- Product Launch and Marketing: I work with the marketing and sales teams to develop launch strategies for new products, creating campaigns that highlight each product’s qualities and differentiators. I define product positioning and create sales arguments based on innovation, efficacy, and quality.

- Cost Management and Efficiency: I oversee the selection of raw material and ingredient suppliers, negotiating prices and always seeking the best cost-benefit ratio. I identify opportunities to optimize the development and production process, focusing on efficiency and profitability.

When I decided to open my company with cosmetics and perfumery, I knew it would have a challenging path ahead, but also a great opportunity to create something innovative and quality. From the beginning, I was responsible for all aspects of the company, from the design of the business to day -to -day operations.


1. Business planning and structuring: First, I worked on the preparation of the business plan. This involved researching the cosmetics and perfumery market, understanding trends, identifying the target audience and defining the company's proposal. As I wanted to offer high quality and innovative products, I focused on differentiating my brand in the market. From there, I also defined the mission and values

of the company, which guide all my decisions.


2. Legalization and approval in ANVISA With the business plan in hand, my next step was to legalize the company. To this end, I had to ensure that everything was according to the regulations of Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency - similar FDA American). Approving cosmetics and perfume formulas and seeking the necessary licenses and records, which are essential to ensure the safety and legality of my products. This process was detailed and required the constant monitoring of each phase, as well as interacting with regulatory professionals and specialized consultants.


3. Product development For the creation of products I worked with chemicals and perfumers to develop cosmetics and fragrance formulas that would meet quality, effectiveness and safety standards. I performed several tests to ensure that the products were not only safe but also attractive to the consumer. Trend research was also crucial for products to meet market demands.


4. Sales strategies In parallel to product development, I focused on creating a sales strategy. This included the establishment of partnerships with distributors and retailers, as well as the ** creation of a sales team ** that was trained to present the products effectively. The construction of a network of loyal clients was essential, so I started looking for different channels, such as online sales, taking advantage of e-commerce opportunities to expand brand range.



5. Marketing and brand positioning As owner of the company, I was also very involved with marketing and brand positioning strategies. This involved the creation of a consistent visual identity and the definition of how I wanted consumers to perceive the brand. I worked on the development of advertising campaigns, both online and offline, and in promotional actions that helped increase the company's visibility. The digital presence was one of my priorities, so I created a website, social networks and even influencers to increase brand exposure.


6. Operations Management and Logistics: With the operation already in progress, I also took care of all the logistics and inventory management, to ensure that the products were available and delivered within the deadlines. Supplier management, quality control and internal processes was critical to maintaining efficient operation and controlled costs.


Conclusion: As the owner of a cosmetics and perfumery company, my role involves not only to make strategic decisions, but also to be involved in the operational aspects of everyday life. Each step is important to ensure product quality and brand growth. From legalization to sales and marketing, I was responsible for each part of the process, and this journey requires a lot of work, dedication and a constant passion for what I do.
