Founded a local mom group in 2010 after becoming a single divorced mom who needed friendship, guidance, and resources for food, healthcare, childcare, and rental/utility help. Since then the group has grown to close 5k women (started with 10) where it continues to help women find local resources to escape domestic violence, food pantries, help with addiction, and in general be a friend to other women in need. We have raised money for others in need, delivered food to those who did not have a vehicle, had a bake sale to give to local families that lost their teen children in a car accident, and helped with community clean up.
