
I am currently working for Sodexo and have enjoyed the work and opportunity to learn new tasks. I welcome new challenges each day so I can gain as much knowledge to better myself. I have a wife and four children of my own, and a daughter we took in and will work as hard as I can to provide a good life for them.
In February of 2025, I took on the task of Buffalo Wild Wings. Being part of this new Concept for Sodexo was fun, but challenging. Have a restaurant concept is awesome, but starting it from ground zero was a fun task. Hiring employees, setting up schedules, ordering food, designing the dining area, being part of the first ever BWW was a great learning experience for me. From the grand opening to summer time we were busy, and had to manage schedules, and trained servers, ran bartenders, had allot to manage to make it successful. Restaurant busy is a tough concept, but managing the chaos and getting a new concept up and going for sodexo was great.
July of 2025 was able to move back to concessions a job I did miss and a job I enjoyed. From day 1 the concessions job has be busy. Being part of the team that gets to open an event center, another new concept at Sodexo, and my 3rd new concept I am able to be part of is great. Being part of the set up of the event center, from setting up or delivery accounts, fintech, getting new contract with outside vendors, setting vendors to sell at concessions, learning how to get contracts done for NPO groups, vendors and alot of other stuff has been great. The leadership of Tanner Smith, showing me the ropes of dealing with the client, dealing with vendors, and being part of decision making meetings, i have been fortunate and lucky to do all that. Building relationships with the clients, and the event center people has really help me be able to make concessions a better experience for our customers.
Manged Blaze Pizza for a semester, then that Summer I was tasked to set up and start a new store on campus. Worked during the summer of 2023 creating a new concept in which we called Oscar P Store. Built the store and opened it September of 2022. Also assisted ETBU in there start up of their store The Blue Bengal.Helped mentor and support that team get it up and running.
I then took over Concessions in 2022, and took it from a smaller operation to where it is today. Started by adding concessions for the first time to soccer,Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Track and field and Rodeo. Changed the menus added alcohol for the first time and tried new menus each year. Managed a team of 90 Part timers run concessions all year. Worked with Athletics Marketing and added more marketing to grow the concessions area. Worked with each sport to make concessions a better experience for the crowd at each event.
