I am strong in customer service and cash handling skills honed at Spencer's Gifts and Collinsville Aqua Park. I am able to work efficiently and effectively with teams while managing my time. Enhancing customer experiences is what I am known for and maintaining my work environment in fast-paced situations.
I worked at the cash register most of the time in the store selling merchandise to customers providing them with deals that we had going on at the time and add-ons for specific items. I handled our POS system on a daily basis while managing the card machine and cash.
On other occasions I was not working the register I would fold and put away shirts and organize any other merchandise that had to be put away. I would help count items from storage and when unboxing I organized different racks of merchandise.
Every morning or night I would help make sure the store is in good shape along with sweeping and mopping the floors. On occasion I would answer the phone helping with a customers need to know if something was in stock or available for pick up.
I have excellent customer service skills from working in the Aqua Park's Gift Shop selling merchandise as well as taking phone calls and making reservations for groups and birthday parties.
I utilized the computer and their POS system to help patrons purchase merchandise or season passes for the summer. I handled my cash register the whole time keeping track of money and giving back the correct amount of change. The managers had us each count our drawers before letting them check it giving me good cash handling skills.
I worked well with everyone at the park and was able to cover other peoples shifts at the bag check area and ticket booth a lot of the time. I always managed keeping the bathrooms clean with a group of co-workers before leaving to make sure it was clean for patrons.
