  • Resolved and aided case management services for low-income or homeless veterans, and helped them find or maintain housing with rental assistance.
  • Conducted comprehensive intake assessments to determine client eligibility, identify barriers to housing, and develop individualized housing and service plans.
  • Handled and organized a heavy case workload, having double the amount of the average caseload for case managers.
  • I communicated with the landlord about the SSVF program and also advocated for the veterans to give them a chance.
  • Created a safe environment for veterans to be open by actively listening to their needs and leading them to the proper resources needed to help benefit their current situation.
  • Planning long-term success strategies to help veterans come up with a game plan that could help them in the future and prevent them from being in the same situation again.
