Previously intern at a summer-winter paid internship with the IT Department of Asheboro City Schools.

My responsibilities:

  • Repair and work with repair claims for damaged students & staff devices throughout schools in the district
  • Help manage IT tickets on the help desk
  • Provide help by phone, emails, person
  • Created detailed documents, spreadsheets, forms, presentations of resource guides, inventory, repair claims submission

Project / Achievement:

Creating and Designing a Help Desk for repair Claims of damaged devices with Google Forms, Google Sheets. The main focus was to eliminate tickets made for damaged devices to focus on more urgent technology tickets / requests.

It contains repair service guides with step-by-step videos, repair service claims forms for each school, and a spreadsheet to keep in track of damaged devices being repaired in real-time.

I also use articles of HTML & Google Apps Script to design automatic emails of the damage device repair status (picked up, shipped for repairs, pending, completed, discarded) onto the spreadsheet.

SparkNC Lab Intern

Currently in an unpaid student internship that I was offered by the Spark NC Lab Leader.

My responsibilities:

  • Created and run the ACS Spark NC Lab Instagram (ahs_sparknc)
  • Make printable & digitable flyers, updates, reminders towards the Spark Lab
  • Do warranty claims and contact companies to repair damage products (lenovo and furniture)
  • Help run the Spark lab by helping students with the program, help with monitors issues and fix technical issues with PC's, Chromebooks and panel
  • Creating documents, presentations, spreadsheets of resource guides, field-trip rosters, open house presentations
  • Help co-direct and co-supervise field trips, events, open-house
