Have you ever wondered how difficult it can be to design a website using Wix, Weebly or GoDaddy? I also had the same thought in my mind. Around my Jr year of high school I decided I would build and design my own website. Instead of using a web development company I would want to build a website from the ground up. Doing this means I would have to learn to code using three main programming languages: HTML (hyper text markup language), CSS (cascading style sheets), and Java Script. Shortly rolling over into my senior year I decide I should take a computer science class my final year of high school, I end up taking the class. This computer science class was a upper division AP course that would teach me JavaScript but not the other essential programming languages I need. I decide to go out on my own to discover what HTML and CSS is about. To wrap up my senior year I go throughout the computer science course understanding all the essentials I need and more. I am grateful to receive the understanding of web development and improve my ability to design and build a website from scratch.
