• Foundation Board Member, Kamp Kiwanis, New York District Kiwanis Foundation, New York, NY, 10/16 to Present, The New York District Kiwanis Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is governed by a board of directors. We ensure all three programs, (Kamp Kiwanis, Scholarships, & Disaster Relief) are operating within the highest level of care. Our combination of time, talent and treasure has been and continues to be invaluable to the success of The Foundation. Kamp Kiwanis is the jewel of our foundation, a summer camp where children with either physical or financial disadvantages are integrated into a program where no child's family has to pay for their summer camp experience. I serve at the pleasure of the board president, currently managing the SLP Tile fundraising program, and aiding in other fundraising projects.
• Lieutenant Governor, Kiwanis International, Finger Lakes Division, Rochester, NY, 10/14 to 09/16, Just as the club president is the leader of the club, the lieutenant governor is the leader of the division. After multiple terms as club president (of 2 Kiwanis clubs), I led the division by implementing organizational goals, developing and leading a strong division leadership team, communicating the vision and messages of the organization, the international president, and district governor to the members in our clubs. During my tenure, we chartered a new Kiwanis Club, as well as a new Builder's Club (middle school) and Key Club (high school). The lieutenant governor works with existing clubs and helps open new clubs to strengthen Kiwanis in his division. In communication, resources, education opportunities and information, this position is the connection between the clubs and the global Kiwanis organization. The lieutenant governor works closely with club leadership, specifically club presidents, to ensure that they feel supported and have access to information to continuously improve their members' experience
• Alumni Volunteer, Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, 12/00 to 12/18, Alpha Phi Omega is a national co-ed service fraternity and non-profit organization, rooted in the principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. After serving in numerous leadership roles as an active member at my university, I have continued to serve as an alumni volunteer. I have overseen the administration of APO chapters at universities in Western NY, served on regional and national committees, led and served with other alumni volunteers. I was trained extensively to present and facilitate Leadership Development workshops, developing leadership within the section, and region.
