Accomplishments

  • In August of 2021, I was brought on to assist a small documentary film crew in their pursuit to follow and record Nigel James, a Native American mountain biker, who hosted the first Enduro race on the Navajo Nation. My contribution to the project was assisting in the transportation of expensive camera equipment up steep and treacherous terrain. Because I saw myself as a representative of my indigenous community, I also helped provide food and water to the crew as they worked diligently to illustrate a journey of perseverance to revitalize a community and culture as well as land. The project went on to make its debut at the 19th Annual Big Sky Documentary Film Festival the following year in February 2022.
