I am very experienced in the restaurant business, especially with diner style places. My time at my family's restaurant gave me extremely proficient customer service skills, as well as great leadership skills. These leadership skills were further reinforced by my time as a Merit Badge Couselor, as well as by my journey through Scouts to eventually become an Eagle Scout. I have done community service throughout basically my entire life because of scouts, and this has created a strong work ethic within me.
Server for a family owned business. I served tables, counted money, and managed sales. Throughout my time here, I did multiple jobs including line cook, dishwasher, server, host, closer, and buffet manager. I worked here in an unoffical sense before 2020 as my family owns the business, but my official employment started in 2020. The business no longer exists.
Throughout high school I had multiple accomplishments. I attended not only AP classes, but also CCP (College Credit Plus) English classes at a local university so that I could get a jump ahead in college. Outside of academics, there are many firsts that I did. For example, I was the first student from my school to ever attend the OMEA convention in Columbus for OMEA All State Choir. As well as this, I am one of the first students to attend the Stambaugh Youth Concert Band from my school, playing trombone. I am one of the highest ranking Quizbowl competitors to ever come from my school, and nobody from my school has ever attended a music program as exclusive as the one I was admitted to for college. As well as this, I am on a short list of Eagle Scouts who have historically attended my school.
Due to my major and intended future profession, I am required to keep a decently healthy body. I exercise as much as possible, and both boxing and roller skating fall into this. I no longer spar people, however I was at one point fighting matches with other people, and actually practicing boxing as a combat sport. However, now I mainly use it as a form of exercise and to train my discipline. Roller skating is sort of my guilty pleasure in that I simply do it for my enjoyment, however it definitely helps my dexterity in my various dance classes. And, I just like clothes. Every time I write a play or story I try to design costumes for them, and some of the classes I take at school are costume design classes.
