I was a 3x Fargo Freestyle Nationals Qualifier and competed in th Junior division to represent the state of Iowa. I wrestled for Ankeny Girls Wrestling team for 2 year before I transferred to Southeast Polk my senior year off high school where I placed 5th in the IGHSAU Wrestling State Tournament. I had a record of 47-5 my senior season and achieved over 100 career wins after my first match of the state tournament. I wrestled freestyle for 3 years; I started at Ankeny Wrestling club where I worked with Alli Ragan and Grand View Wrestling club before I ultimately joined Moen Wrestling Academy and wrestled there for 2 years. I was a 2025 Northern Plaines Freestyle Regionals champion where I wrestled 207. I have wrestled every weight class from 170-235 and often wrestled weight classes far heavier than what I actually weighed. I won several tournaments, both in Iowa and outside of Iowa throughout high school folkstyle season including the Central Iowa Kickoff Tournament, Belle of the Border, Saydel Wrestling Tournament, and many more. This has equipped me the skills necessary to teach wrestling. It has also made me very adaptable and able to work through very difficult situations to figure out a way to come out of it successfully even when all the odds are against me.
