  • Management Support Assistant to the Director of Logistics, serves as the Director’s office administrator, directly responsible to the Director of Logistics for the overall general management and execution of the directorates Administrative functions. Assistant independently direct actions throughout the Directorate to satisfy administrative tasks and requirements assigned from Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) and Army Material Command (AMC) in an effective and timely manner. Support and Assistant independently plan, arrange, develop, and control a wide variety of administrative services necessary for day to day operation.
  • Directly responsible to the director of logistics/S4 Officer for overall general management and execution of the Directorate’s Administrative Functions. Provide Technical and administrative support for the Logistics chief, Maintenance Chief, and supply division. Maintain the Directors Suspense Calendar exercising complete control over appointments/suspense with authority for commitments of time using my own judgement to order priorities based on extensive knowledge of the Supervisor’s requirements. Compose and review correspondence and action papers submitted to ensure that the material is properly prepared and coordination is completed. Serve as primary contact for all calls and visitors to the Directorate. Receive, Screen calls and visitors and take appropriate action. Schedule Mandatory Training, initiate travel orders, Perform Time and Attendance for all Employees in the Directorate and Personnel Actions the DCPDS and also keep up DPMAPS and AutoNoa System. Perform a wide variety of office Management and Administration duties to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the office. Supports the Staff Section subordinate divisions in all routine, matters and coordinate the schedules on matters pertaining to supplies, management activities, and functional structures. Serve as the Records Management Coordinator for the office and implements the modern Record Keeping System and provides guidance to enhance systematic flow of correspondence and maintenance of filing systems.   • As an Administrative Support Specialist, I provide executive-level administrative support to the Deputy Director and six department heads. Organization’s single-point of contact for administrative and human resource support to 380 plus employees and unique projects. Provides guidance and advises staff on editorial and administrative matters; implements regulatory policies. Provides advice, support, and assistance to direct and effect decisions on administrative office management, personnel security, and organizational functions as needed. Provides guidance and direction to lower level administrative professionals. Conducts editorial reviews on all incoming correspondence for conformance with established procedures. Research, develop, provide guidance on internal/external correspondence, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures. Conducts information and cyber security inspections of the organization. As the Alternate Security Manager, I conduct security briefings/ debriefings/foreign travel briefings, submits derogatory information as required and advises Deputy Director with recommendations to suspend or deny access to classified information or continued suitability for public trust positions. Accessees JPAS to in/out-process employees, to vet employees requiring specific facility access, and create visits as required, ensures SF-312s are completed, documented in JPAS, and filed, pull miscellaneous reports to conduct JPAS maintenance as required, initiate periodic reinvestigations as required, point of contact for all SORs, DEROGs, and self-report incidents. Maintain and update the DES alert Roster, Directory and leader smart card and DES calendar. Support Business Manager by tracking work orders, scheduling the organizations classroom and conference rooms to ensuring key control and usage are met. Serve as DTS and DCPDS assistant for the Budget. Maintain SOPs MOIs, LOIs and other DES files. Serve as the alternate Secretary for AFDCB. Prepare slides for weekly Staff Meetings. Interface with local businesses, high schools, and college officials and the local VA office for potential job candidates. Ensure all personnel security clearances are obtained and maintained in accordance with AR 380-5. Coordinate with Fort Bragg Security and Intelligence and physical Security to insure all DES personnel comply with information personnel physical and operational security measures. Provide operational support of the DES civilian management programs. Serve as the Primary Timekeeper and Training coordinator for the Directorate of Emergency Services. Conduct information and cyber security inspections of the organization.
