As a hostess I learned strong multitasking skills, balancing responsibilities such as answering phone calls, greeting guests, and updating reservation logs simultaneously. I also greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide friendly and warm presence throughout the dining experience.

• As a cashier I scanned peoples groceries and helped with anything that was needed. I also sometimes did self checkout which is helping costumers. I also did shop back which is bringing all the unwanted items back to their place on the shelf. the main work I did is cashiering and dealing with all different types of customers. It was my first job with the general public and i learned a lot on how to handle certain situations. I also got to practice my social skills a lot and learn how to hold conversation

• My position involved serving food to various floors in the residence. I made the plates of food and catered to the residents.After the food was served I cleaned the whole floor including dishes, sweeping, mopping etc. I then went to the main kitchen to help clean down there. if all work was done I helped to various tasks like folding silverware. The main point of the job was to get to know the residents and build relationships and make them at home.I learned how to be patient, and make sure to stay under control when a customer isn't pleased and things aren't going right

As a lifeguard I watched over the patrons in the pool for about 7 hours a day. It involved intensive training. In the beginning and end of the shift I helped clean the pool deck and get it ready for the day or cleaned at the end. multitasking was the biggest skill one had to know at this job. there was about 12 positions around the pool and you got rotated every 15 minutes to insure best capability of watching over the patrons. In the training, I had to work with my peers and learn new skills I had never even thought of because I had never been a swimmer.
