Julissa Piña

Hello! My name is Julissa Piña, and I’m a freshman at San José State University with aspirations of joining the Aviation program. My goal is to major in Professional Flight and eventually pursue a career as a commercial airline pilot. I’m eager to further immerse myself in the aviation community by joining student clubs and connecting with peers who share similar interests. My dream is to fly for a major airline and help connect people across the globe.

I’m a first-generation college student from Woodland, CA. Outside of academics, I competed in swimming and played volleyball for eight years. I enjoy staying active and involved in my extracurriculars; clubs, leadership positions, and jobs. These have taught me valuable life skills and helped shape who I am today.
