I enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where I can apply my communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. I am also a passionate artist and designer! I have experience in costume design and sewing, having worked as a dresser at Nashville Ballet and a sewing assistant at MTSU Costume Studio. I am proficient in CAD, Adobe Illustrator, and CLO 3D Fashion Design Software, and I have created original and innovative designs for various projects and productions. I am eager to expand my knowledge of retail and fashion and to collaborate with other creative and talented designers.
Involved with many aspects of horse and barn care, assisting riders at riding shows, designing and creating themed saddle pads, and assisting with lessons and fundraising events.
I was chosen through a competitive interview process to be a Junior Volunteer; attended an extensive training program earning the privilege to eventually handle animals with guests. Worked at zoo informational carts, helped guests feed giraffes, assisted at large events, served in summer camps, and handled/shared a rat with guests while answering any questions.
I love seeking out forgotten treasures at thrift stores and Upcycling clothing, alterations and hemming for friends, 2022-working with Hatch by Wilcom, converting digital images into embroidery files, watching movies, learning about history, painting, crochet, gardening, spending time with animals of any sort, and helping others!
