Katelyn Davis

I am responsible for managing daily operations behind the bar, ensuring high-quality drinks, and overseeing inventory and ordering supplies. I also train and support new team members, using my strong interpersonal skills to create a positive, collaborative work environment. My ability to communicate clearly and lead with empathy has helped build a team that works efficiently and delivers great customer service. One of my key achievements was improving our labeling system, as well as organizing daily cleaning tasks to ensure a smooth and productive workflow.

Due to the fast-paced nature of the job and the constant flow of responsibilities, I’ve developed strong multitasking skills, and the ability to stay focused under pressure. Whether I’m managing drink orders, assisting customers, checking inventory, or mentoring staff, I’m able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail, and a calm, professional attitude.

While working at the Starbucks located inside a Target, I gained experience not only as a barista, but also across multiple departments within the store. In addition to preparing high-quality beverages and maintaining a clean, organized café environment, I was cross-trained in areas such as guest services, stocking, and general merchandise. This role required adaptability, quick learning, and strong multitasking skills, as I frequently shifted between responsibilities to support different teams throughout the day. My ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure helped me thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment while consistently delivering excellent customer service.

My first job was at a small restaurant called Cozy Café, where I started working at just 14 years old. Even though I was young and only worked there for two months before the location closed, the experience taught me valuable, foundational skills that I still carry with me today. I learned the importance of punctuality, teamwork, and maintaining a strong work ethic in a customer-facing environment. From taking orders and cleaning tables to assisting in the kitchen, I was trusted with a variety of tasks that helped build my confidence, and taught me how to stay organized and focused. It was a short experience, but it sparked my passion for working in fast-paced, people-centered environments.
