Started in 2002 at Rutland vet clinic as a tech/ receptionist . Did office visits with the vet as well as reception duties . Take patient history , draw up vaccines and administer them under veterinarian advise , nail trims , changing iv lines as needed , medicating in hospital patients as directed .. cleaning cages , feeding watering , walking patients . Surgery prep, cleaning surgery area and equipment and properly sterilizing and wrapping instruments . Answering multi line phones and scheduling appts , answering client questions , selling client products , filling prescriptions , checking patients in and out . Occasional grooming patients .
