March 2000 to April 2008 Assigned to the Bureau of Patrol as a Patrolman. Duties included patrolling assigned area for criminal activity, responded to calls for service, and developed strategies for problem areas.
April 2008 to November 2010 Assigned to the Bureau of Patrol as a Sergeant. Promoted in April 2008 at which time I supervised a squad of six officers who responded to calls for service within their assigned areas. I developed strategies to assist officers with problem areas within their assigned areas, reviewed and approved reports, citations, and arrest, and conducted roll call training.
November 2010 to November 2018 Assigned to the Bureau of Investigations as a Sergeant. Promoted and assigned as the supervisor for the Residential Burglary Unit within the property crimes section. My responsibilities included supervising seven detectives, assigning and approving all residential theft and burglary cases for Fayette County, reviewing and approving all arrest reports for the unit, reviewing, tracking, and reporting all theft/burglary crime data, developed strategies for theft/burglary reduction in high crime areas, and conducted community out reach by attending neighborhood meetings.
July 2005 to November 2018 Special assignment as a member of the Emergency Response Unit (SWAT Team). Duties included responding to calls for service involving barricaded subjects, civil disturbance, active shooter incidents, and assisting with the serving of high risk warrants.
