The lead detailer and designer of a small structural steel and miscellaneous metals firm. Responsibilities included marketing, sales, scheduling/project management, technical direction, project design and engineering, hiring and training.
Responsible for the outside detailing project management. This included hiring and training outside detailers. Managing the projects through the approval process and into production.
Also, as part of my responsibilities, I designed all field repairs required on a project. This required engineering analysis, drafting and material procurement.
This position dealt with the bridge building industry. My responsibilities were the design of high load, multi-rotational Pot Bearings and Spherical Bearings placed beneath bridge girders.
The design was then put out to the drafting department for detailing.
