Lead enterprise security strategy for Nike’s global footprint, overseeing executive protection, physical security infrastructure, incident response, and travel risk programs. Responsible for strategic planning, program budgeting, supplier negotiations, and vendor performance management.

Own and lead the following seven core security programs:

Nike World Headquarters Guard Force
Oversee the deployment and ongoing management of 175+ full-time and contract security personnel to protect Nike’s people, facilities, and brand at its headquarters.

• Execute large-scale events including athletic competitions, celebrity visits, and corporate functions.
• Manage public/private partnership with local law enforcement.
• Ensure guard force performance through KPIs, vendor SLAs, and compliance audits.

Global Physical Security and Infrastructure Program
Oversee the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of Nike’s physical security infrastructure globally.

• Manage access control systems, credentialing, CCTV, turnstiles, and mail security solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Facilities, IT, and InfoSec to ensure secure, scalable systems.
• Direct global security technology standards and integrator relationships.

Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
Direct 24/7 global operations for emergency dispatch, system monitoring, and threat escalation.

• Supervise incident alert tools and ensure rapid response to escalated events.
• Maintain real-time communication with regional security teams and field responders.

Global Duty of Care (Travel Security) Program
Ensure the safety and well-being of all Nike travelers and expatriates around the world.

• Manage partnerships with third-party duty of care providers.
• Provide high-risk travel guidance, monitor threat landscapes, and support emergency responses.

Global Incident Management
Lead strategic planning and real-time coordination during disruptive business events.

• Partner with leadership to develop and implement continuity and recovery plans.
• Coordinate response efforts across stakeholder groups during crises such as civil unrest, weather emergencies, or supply chain disruption.

Threat Management
Lead investigations and mitigation planning for threats impacting employees, facilities, and the brand.

• Respond to workplace violence, domestic issues, stalking, and other high-risk incidents.
• Created Nike’s enterprise-wide workplace violence prevention program and mandatory Run, Hide, Fight training.
• Liaise with law enforcement, legal, and mental health professionals.

Executive Protection Program
Direct Nike’s global executive protection function, including strategy, planning, and team deployment.

• Plan and conduct travel security, site advances, and real-time protective operations.
• Manage global vendor contracts and ensure seamless VIP travel execution.
• Trained in CPR/First Aid, TCCC trauma care and emergency response readiness.

• Directed security operations across North America, managing 100+ sites and 30+ construction projects.
• Implemented hostile intruder protocols and collaborated with law enforcement.

• Conducted criminal and misconduct investigations: theft, fraud, bribery, and harassment.
• Built partnerships with global law enforcement partners and internal HR/legal teams.

• Supported all physical security operations across Umpqua’s West Coast locations.
• Investigated internal theft, external fraud, and worked with financial crime units.

• Led teams in investigations, crisis response, and community policing.
• Managed high-stakes incidents and cross-agency coordination.
