Volunteer for the PEMHS, (Personal Enrichment through Mental Health Services), Social Services Summer Leadership Program, 2023. I assisted in the planning and development of the Community Christmas in
July event. I worked to oversee and complete the steps to facilitate a large community event. I was responsible for soliciting for community donations, creating signage and marketing for event and organization of the event. During the event I had responsibilities for screening, sorting, folding, and designing the clothing displays for shoppers. In addition the day of the event I took part of the set up, take down, and support of the families attending the event. The event impacted over 120 families in need within the community, providing clothing, food, hygiene, and activities for the children.
