Over the past years, I have had the privilege of contributing my time and efforts towards meaningful causes, leaving a positive impact on various communities. My volunteer work at North Cobb High School involved actively participating in school events, assisting the band and supporting student in life after high school and extracurricular pursuits. This experience not only strengthened my connection with the local education system but also allowed me to witness the transformative power of education.
In addition to my involvement at North Cobb High School, I dedicated substantial time to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause close to my heart. Through fundraising events, awareness campaigns, and providing direct assistance to wounded veterans, I aimed to make a difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our country. This experience taught me the importance of resilience, perseverance, and the impact of collective efforts in supporting our military heroes.
My commitment to philanthropy extends beyond local communities, as I actively volunteered and donated to organizations such as Sunshine Kids and St. Jude. Supporting children facing life-threatening illnesses and contributing to cutting-edge research for pediatric diseases has been a deeply rewarding experience. Witnessing the resilience and courage of these young individuals has inspired me to continue advocating for their well-being.
Additionally, my involvement in feeding the homeless has allowed me to address pressing issues of hunger and homelessness in our society. Through partnerships with local shelters and community outreach programs, I played a role in providing nutritious meals and essential resources to those in need. This experience has heightened my awareness of social issues and the importance of community support systems.
In summary, my diverse volunteer experiences at North Cobb High School, the Wounded Warrior Project, Sunshine Kids, St. Jude, and homeless outreach have shaped me into a compassionate and socially responsible individual. These experiences have not only broadened my perspective but have also instilled in me a sense of purpose to continue making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Feeding the homeless is near and dear to me and my family heart. We are so blessed and I was raised to give back to the community. It started as me being a dad wanting to show my children how life could be and to be grateful for what we do have, but it has turned into so much more than that. Every year we cook meals and deliver them to families and shelters.
Joining Phi Beta Sigma organization would be a dream come for me. That is one of my only regrets because of the family and friends that are already part of the Sigma brotherhood. The close-knit brotherhood that Phi Beta Sigma provides is unmatched. I also know that the leadership opportunities of being a Sigma is great with various opportunities to take of responsibilities and contribute to the community. I'm really looking for to being apart of the tradition and legacy that Phi Beta Sigma provides. Growing up with my dad who has been a Sigma since the 1970's have let me see first hand how special it is to be apart of such a brotherhood. I have donated to the Phi Beta Sigma on a few different occasions but one that sticks out is when they provided food to feed the entire Mississippi Valley State football team. I would be honored to join this organization to become a better man and do even more for the community. Thank you for your consideration and I have Professional and Phi Beta Sigma references upon request.
