This is my current job, I work over the summer managing a camp for all different aged kids over the summer. I work with peers and oversee the camp counselors, to provide a fun and safe environment for the kids to have fun with there friends for a week. I brainstorm plans and different activities to do with the kids during the day.
While working at Olive Garden, I went through a 5 day training in order to get out on the floor by myself. This included learning food running, different tranings as a server, and meeting the team members. I worked there all summer while I was back at home for break.
In my time working this seasonal job, I was able to work the register, talk to customers, and help customers find what they were looking for.
During my time at the diner I was able to be a host and check people out while learning how to waitress. I was on to-go orders while working there and eventually worked my way up to waitressing.This was my first job during high school, and it taught me alot going into the resturant industry.
