Summary

I am a lifelong educator with a proven track record in many arenas involving learning. I would love to move on from substitute teaching to a role that involves a more permanent position in the classroom that involves management and fostering student engagement.

Skilled in adapting lesson plans for diverse learning needs,

I excel in building relationships with children, parents administrators and staff whilst at the same time enhancing academic growth and self esteem. Currently, I am pursuing education in Trauma Informed Care, I am committed to empowering all students to reach their potential.

I am committed to providing engaging and structured learning experiences, while letting students experience their own creativity and their own self empowerment, ensuring smooth transitions for students. I consistently emphasize collaboration and flexibility to meet varying classroom needs. I am known for effective communication and classroom management.

I have several years of experience with classroom instruction, student engagement, and curriculum implementation and I encouraged students to weave what they love into their own learning. I have utilized effective teaching strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment. I find that adaptability is a strong suit as well as assessing not only a classroom’s needs, but also a student’s needs. As a former ABA paraprofessional working with parents and students in the home, I have been instrumental in helping to develop goals that were necessary in an IEP and helping the student to meet those goals both in the home and at school. I have many years of experience with both neurotypical, gifted, and children on the spectrum.

Working with any age, I have been known to be an enthusiastic educator with communication and interpersonal skills necessary to lead classrooms and execute lesson plans, either as a main teacher or a substitute teacher.

I create positive classroom environments and effectively manage student behavior while being proactive and goal-oriented professional with excellent time management and problem-solving skills. I have always been known for reliability and adaptability, in school, I was taught that early is on time, on time is late, and late is a problem. I am swift to learn and apply new skills. I am also very eager to learn and pick up new skills along the way, the most recent example being not only just a regular CPR/FirstAid certification, but at a BLS First Aid/Certification; BLS standing for basic life support usually reserved for those in healthcare, and it is very difficult to obtain for civilians. I am also in the process of obtaining my Trauma Informed Care Education Certification.

I like to think outside of the box at times when faced with a problem or when a child might have a learning difficulty, because maybe I have a skill set that someone else doesn’t. I possess versatile skills in project management, problem-solving, and collaboration. In addition, I bring fresh perspective and strong commitment to quality and success for my students by both work ethic and personal experience. Recognized for my adaptability and proactive approach in delivering effective solutions in unique situations that might require careful, communication, I continue to demonstrated strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments. I am eager to contribute to team success and further develop professional skills. I am a people-person with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.

I love to stay organized and dependable to show success at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. There has been a continued willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.

I would enjoy a full-time teaching role that presents professional challenges and leverages interpersonal skills, effective time management, and problem-solving expertise. As a former counselor for a crisis management organization, I believe I have what it takes to stay calm under pressure. develop plans and follow up procedures before danger happens and recognize any impending issues.

I am e oops xperienced in handling numerous projects at once while ensuring accuracy. I am excellent at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. I believe that all of these qualities would make me an excellent asset to your school community.
