High Honors award:
While my 8th grade school year was cut short because of the global pandemic (COVID-19). I was able to stick with my work ethic, and I eventually met my goal of high honors. While this was a challenge since the last 2 months og my schooling were switched to virtual. I was able to overcome this experience with a positive outcome, and prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to.
Highest Honors Award:
During my 9-10th grade I achieved highest honors. It was a challenging tasks that consisted of hard work, dedication,a nd perseverance. I was able to overcome all of this and maintain a 3.8 GPA.
DECA Award (Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) is a high school and college program for students interested in business. The organization prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.)
I received two DECA rewards. The first reward was presented to me for meeting the top 5 in my category. As the second reward was at states, there were roughly 40 different schools in my category, and I achieved the top 10.
Sportsmanship Award
My first year playing softball was in 7th grade, and I was new to the sport. I was able to jump right in and development excellent athletic skills in the process. At the end of my 7th grade season I received this award, and it was dedicated to me for my positive attitude I brought to the field with me each and everyday ready to learn. Ultimately I never gave up just because I was new to something, and I was constantly a positive player and lifted my teammates up.
CPR License:
My high school provided a course work class, that consisted of students using their knowledge, thought processing, and observation skills to obtain their CPR license. This coursework taught me rigorous aspects to the field of medicine, and the criteria that is followed alongside with it.
