As an Assistant Manager, I oversee the daily operations of a residential group home serving six nonverbal adult men. My responsibilities include administering and tracking medications, managing monthly medication inventory, managing the monthly house budget, coordinating and attending medical appointments, and working closely with families and administration to implement effective care plans. I also supervise and support DSP staff, ensuring consistent, compassionate, and professional care.

• Managed front desk operations, ensuring efficient visitor check-in and appointment scheduling.
• Coordinated phone communications, directing inquiries to appropriate departments promptly.
• Maintained organized filing systems for client records and office documents.
• Assisted in preparing meeting rooms, ensuring all necessary materials were available.
• Dealing with insurance companies.

• I assist two doctors for a mobile dental service.
• Some of my responsibilities are the driving to different locations, I take X-rays and assist the doctors with exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions and impressions for dentures, partials and crowns.

• My job consists of administering medication, supporting individuals on achieving their short term and long term goals, and up keep with house chores such as cleaning and cooking.
• I worked with Family Residences for 6 years and while working for them I also got excepted into a big trial program in NY state.
• Each company accepted 50 people out of thousands and through that I graduated with a DSP 2 certification.

• I worked this job a lot on and off for years while trying to better my life and career, I kept coming back a few times because it worked best for me with scheduling early hours while being a single mom when my son was really young.
