- The primary focus is on analyzing, planning & consolidating shipments in all Non-conventional modes into trips with the objective of better asset utilization and increased payload. Responsible for all shipments out of the Midwest territory, in a year's worth, around 35% of total shipments are out of the Midwest.
- 50%: Ability to independently perform complex routing, fleet sizing analysis, and develop spend models. Work closely with conventional and non-conventional scheduling teams to identify opportunities for efficient and mode-based product flow.
- 25%: Monitor key lifecycle events of shipments using MS Excel and access-based data-mining, adjust and re-plan trips in progress due to late registrations, date adjustments equipment breakdown, etc. Make repositioning decisions necessary to meet future demand in specific geographies
- 15% • Work with agent personnel to coordinate loading and unloading fulfillment as needed. Use flexibility and creative problem-solving skills to address changes and failures. In 2023 midwest on time delivery was slated at 95%.
- 10% • Design analytical reports to evaluate and track current state operations and simulate future state operations. Will be responsible for analyzing & recommending network-wide least-cost transportation models.
