• Manage all areas of property damage by communicating with clients, rental car companies, body shops, and insurance adjusters. Collect receipts of any and all damaged belongings for reimbursement. Sent out LOU demands.
• Request and collect evidence such as EDR's and camera footage from businesses and city entities.
• Communicate with physicians, physical therapists, and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans and documented patient interactions and appointments in CASEpeer.
• Identify care needs of clients and coordinate treatment based on physician recommendations, insurance limitations, procedural costs and monthly communication with client regarding ongoing symptoms and care.
• Request and collect any all medical records, billing and final liens. Including Medi-Cal, MediCare, and child support liens.
• Manage cases from beginning to end. Including sending policy limit demands from the beginning of the case and throughout the life of the claim.
• Prepare and send out medpay and bodily injury demands.
• Negotiate settlements with adjusters.
• Negotiate all final medical liens once settlement has been reached.
• Prepare and finalize all settlement breakdowns, and closing pay letters to medical facilities and clients.
• Discuss annuities and MSA details with clients when necessary.
• Have weekly meetings with management to discuss which cases should go into litigation and which should be referred out.
• Draft transfer to litigation memos which consist of a summary of the case details, client treatment/injury, and pros and cons of going to litigation.
• Manage cases of all policy limits. From minimum policy to multimillion dollar claims.
• Managed and negotiated a claim that settled for nearly half a million dollars.
• Assist in training case manager assistants.
