Luca Tinsley

Aspiring Electrical Engineer with strong leadership, collaboration, and problem solving skills. A service trip to Mexico inspired my passion for using electrical engineering to improve living conditions in underserved areas. Experienced in Python, C++, and Java, with hands-on experience in basic circuitry and Raspberry Pi projects. Founded and led clubs, served in community service projects, and mentored peers. My last line of work was as a salesperson and chemical tester at Pinch-A-Penny, before going to the university for studies. Committed to create affordable technologies that enhance access to electricity in rural areas.

Hermanos de la Calle: (June 2022 - August 2023)

Provided essentials for living to the homeless in the streets of Downtown Miami as well as helping them rehabilitate and find shared homes.

Mexico Service Project: (June 19 2022 - June 28 2022)

Helped rural town repair buildings damaged during an earthquake, teach an English class to students, and to care for the elderly.

Summer Reading Camp: (June 2023 - July 2023)

Staffing a summer camp for middle school students. My work consisted in tending to the needs of the students as well as giving presentations and organizing their activities.
