Role Overview:
As a Server at Mikuni, you’ll be a key part of creating a positive, memorable dining experience for guests. You’ll greet and seat guests, take food and drink orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that guests are well-taken care of during their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner.
• Present menus, explain specials, answer basic questions about the menu (including sushi/sashimi items & Japanese-style cuisine).
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct presentation and quality.
• Check in with guests during the meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
• Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, dining area, and service tools.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, sushi bar, and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Handle payment transactions, close out tables, and thank guests for dining with us.
• Assist with side-work tasks: restocking, cleaning, prepping service stations.
• Be ready to work evenings, weekends and holidays (when needed).
