• I helped other employees learn what I knew and assisted with whichever job I was sent to with the knowledge I acquired in my previous years.

This company is where I grew the most. At first, I continued to do installs and was shown how to properly read prints. They showed me a lot about wiring. Let me lead groups at the SCAD project in Atlanta doing decks, underground, and temp power. I was also tasked with the electrical room layouts and corridors.

My time with Lewis Electrical was a great foundation for any upcoming electrician. My first four months as a material handler gave me a sense of the logistics and organization of a worksite. Then slowly transition into assisting electricians in doing simple installs. I also got trained on how to operate equipment, and I started to learn how to make simple connections.
