I greeted guests and took their respective needs into account, while also having the server's best interest in mind as well, and picked seats that satisfied both parties' needs. When time allowed, I also cleaned off dirty tables for servers to give them more time to properly serve our guests.

- As a hostess I greeted guests with a warm hello and provided them with seats that attended to their needs as well as the servers' needs. I also managed the expectations of the guest by letting them know wait times and how closely we could attend to their needs. I answered phone calls to coordinate reservations for future dates, relayed important information to managers for them to manage, and responded to other miscellaneous inquiries. I would set up tables with reservations to be extra prepared for the day/night. I provided the utmost customer service to patrons, addressing customer needs as soon as possible. I checked restrooms at every hour to ensure a clean and stocked area. I also checked how many seats we had left in the restaurant, where each table was in their experience, and how the kitchen was holding up. By assessing these areas, I was able to decide whether or not we need to go on a waitlist.
