  • Manage the Fee Program for Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area: Direct day-to-day operations of a complex fee operation in a very linear park consisting of 27 campgrounds and 22 boat launches.
  • Keep Senior Management informed of Fee Program activities, advise them on fee related topics and laws. Advise Concessions Specialist on history of the park, fee operations and historical SUP's and CUA's.
  • Research compile and analyze data of internal and external operations to identify trends and ways to improve our program. Design and implement the new plans according to research preformed.
  • Monitor and evaluate the Fee Program to anticipate and prevent risks. Develop spreadsheets to track potential risks and track inventory. Monitor the fee program to ensure the safety of the employees. Advise management in ways of improving their safety.
  • Analyze and evaluate financial data for market pricing. Review comparability studies for private, local, state and other governmental agency fee rates to ensure organization fee rates are similar with the surrounding communities.
  • Conduct civic engagement, reach out to visitors and keep apprised of the needs of the visitor to assure our program meets their needs while staying within the mission of the park service.
  • Work with Human Resource staff in recruitment and hiring activities.
  • Hire and supervise up to 3 Recreation Fee Technicians and 1 Career Seasonal Recreation Fee Technician
  • Hire and supervise up to 14 Campground Hosts
  • Assure park-wide consistency in implementing all approved procedures and guidelines according to RM22
  • Coordinate all formal fee collection training and serve as an instructor in the below listed classes.
  • Input and update the PMIS projects directly related to the fee operation.
  • Write Third Party Agreements for our 8 vendors selling Annual BL Passes.
  • Work directly with recreation.gov and pay.gov for our cashless system.
