Matthew Burchett

I am a dedicated, intelligent individual that gives full effort into everything I do. My drive has gotten me to the places I am today with the achievements to prove it and will allow me to be one of the most hardworking individuals in my field in the future.

Student Director in CHAMPS Program:

• Program that takes college student volunteers and pairs them with first-generation high-school students to create bonds and provide a mentorship opportunity for both parties.
• By being in the program, the high-school students are provided the opportunity to receive a full scholarship to the University of Redlands.
• My job is to plan and facilitate programs, coordinate supplies, maintain university compliance, and manage communication within the organization.

Vice President of Alpha Gamma Nu Fraternity on University of Redlands campus:

• Active member from Freshman year to now.
• Organization that excels in areas such as community service and academic excellence, holding awards such as the most hours of community service and highest cumulative GPA between all greek organizations on campus.
• Current Office Held: Vice President; assisting president in all duties such as holding meetings, maintaining relations with administrators, and ensuring compliance with university standards.

Member of REACH Social Justice class:

• Class on campus that provides students opportunities to mentor/tutor kids that have been incarcerated at extension schools around the county.
