Shadow Work
In the years 2020 and 2023 I completed multiple hours of shadow work at DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office. I worked with the medical team as well as the investigation team. At the DCMEO morgue, I assisted with multiple autopsies and assisted with one scene for a suicide. I assisted with taking the photos of the scene and crime scene clean up which included the removal and transfer of the decedent from the scene to the morgue. In addition I sat in on the phone calls to the relatives and assisted with writing the investigator's official statement.
