I approached each day and unique challenges with enthusiasm, patience and humor. Hardworking and passionate job seeker with strong organizational skills. Ready to help team achieve goals. I love working in the classroom with students and I have had such good experiences everywhere that I have worked.
I work at this school as a substitute teacher and para educator. I either work one on one with a student or I am in charge of the entire classroom. I follow the sub plans and work with the students when the teacher is unable to be there. I am currently a student at xavier university so I work here when I am home for different breaks.
This is my current field placement for my LA/ SS block. I was placed here for a field experience. I am required to teach 2 Language Arts lessons and 2 Social Studies lessons. I so far have done a lot of group work with the students and one on one work and I am beginning to build that connection with my students. I am currently in a second grade classroom.
I decided to do some of my observation hours at the lab school at my universities campus. This school is a montessori school and was a different experience then the other schools I had been to. The students in the classroom ranged from the ages of 3-6. I worked one on one with these students and did different reading activities.
This was a field experience for my math and science block. I commuted 30 minutes away and I taught 4 lessons at this school, 2 math and 2 science which each were around an hour long. I got to know my students and the teacher community within this school and I absolutely loved it. I would take small groups, and work one on one with the students. I was placed in a 3rd grade class during this experience.
This was another one of my field experiences for Xavier University, I was placed in a first grade class. During this time I would be there to watch the teacher, teach phonics. I taught one phonics lesson here to a small group of students who were struggling.
I was placed in first grade and would observe students for a class as well as work in small groups and assist the teacher around the classroom. This was my first field experience set up by Xavier University.
I worked as apart of the waitstaff, serving the members as well as cleaning, setting up and working events.
I worked in the front as a team member, I would serve the food to customers outside and take orders, help bag the food, make the milkshakes and drinks or take payments. This was my current job but I recently went on a pre planned family vacation and contacted them when I got back and still haven’t herd any reply for them.
I worked with little kids as a CIT, and I would help them set up projects for the kids and set up the games they would play. I was just like a camp counselor but I wasn’t in charge of any of the kids I would go from group to group to see who needed the help and work with there kids. It was a wonderful experience.
