Research Study on Body Image, During my collegiate career in psychology at Emporia State University, my research partner and I conducted a research study with our hypothesis being, 'If a group of participants views pictures of a thin bodied model, then their perceptions of the model’s success will vary from those of a group that views pictures of a curvy bodied model'. Our results did not yield significance in regard to our hypothesis; however, we did find significance between how participants view themselves and if they have suffered from an eating disorder.
