Since July 2022 I have been working as a Operational Support Supervisor for Amentum. For the short time I have been in this position I have learned what it takes to be a Supervisor and continue to learn my roll everyday with the help from other supervisors and managers that have offered there insite to help be better. As a supervisor I have learned to be a better mentor to existing employees and new employee's coming in offering suggestions that can help them within the job.
From November 2019- July 2022 I worked as a ESA Tender for Amentum. During the 2 years of employment as a ESA Tender I have acquired many different certifications to include ESA Basic, my DPE Radio Cert, as while as my ERT Hazmat and Rope Rescue certs. I recently acquired my Operations Support Supervisor Cert. so i can be a Lead on my shift.
Over the last 10 years of being a Volunteer Firefighter under the supervision of the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Bureau I have accomplished many tasks and acquired multiple qualifications within the Wildland firefighting field. Some of those accomplished that I have acquired are my S-130/190, my S-131, S-212, S-270 and many ICS qualifications through NIMS. Some of those qualifications I have gotten through NIMS are ICS-100, 700, and 200. In the 8 years I have continue to keep up with all my Wildland refresher courses. In my time with the Sheriffs office I have personally received a Life Saving Award and Volunteer Of the Year award. I have used my knowledge in the wildland field to mentor new volunteers that have joined the department. I am always looking to further my knowledge within the field by seeking knew training opportunities and seeking the knowledge of some of the more experienced members on the department and surrounding departments within Pueblo County.
