Senior officer now assigned to State Parole Office. During seventeen year career, supervised and managed offenders released from incarceration in different aspects of their supervision needs. In addition to supervising offenders, I have provided the following knowledge and expertise:

• Built relationships with defendants and offenders, assessing living conditions and case background information.
• Collaborated with senior leadership during decision-making processes and created thorough offender reports for corrective action planning.
• Coordinated and worked closely with law enforcement, social service agencies and mental health providers.
• Maintained organized offender records and documentation in compliance with department and legal standards.
• Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.

Federal correctional officers provide supervision and care to federal inmates. Basic duties involved in federal correctional officer jobs include enforcing the institution's rules and regulations, including facility security and inmate conduct and accountability.

• Provided crisis intervention support during emergencies, effectively de-escalating tense situations and maintaining order within the facility.
• Closely monitored prisoner behavior to identify potential issues or conflicts before they escalated into larger problems.

During my twenty two years enlisted in the US Navy, I have held numerous positions in various places all over the world. My first fifteen years in the Navy I was in Personnel Administration and was an office manager before converting over to Military Police Officer. I completed Basic Military Police Training in San Antonio, TX in 2002. In addition, I completed Basic Instructor Course in 1993 and Career Counselor Training in New Orleans, LA, in 2004. I held a Secret Clearance up until my retirement in 2008. I was a recruiter for the Navy for six years.
