My first position as a sales consultant at Toyota of Kirkland has prepared me for success at any car dealership. When I began as a new sales consultant, my potential was recognized early and I was selected to join the vehicle acquisitions department where I was responsible for appraising cars and determining the best possible offer for the dealership while also making a deal with the customer. I then transitioned over to the internet sales team where I managed several hundred internet leads, finding out how to quickly qualify the serious customers, set an appointment and make the deal.
In May, I took a break from sales to open my own real estate investing company. Real estate investing is still a long term goal for me in the future along with advancing my career as a salesperson. While my educational background in music may seem completely unrelated to sales, studying the humanities has given me unique people skills that helps me succeed in sales. I was active as a professional musician for several years in the Seattle area and received many accolades and prestigious performance opportunities as a pianist in my career.
