As the local fleet driver manager I plan each drivers days, dispatch them, update their loads with trailers, tractors and arrival and departure times. I manage 40 trucks and 48 drivers. Communicate with drivers on a regular basis. I accept loads and build them in our operating system. I also manage some customers from requests for transfers, to building loads, planning the loads, dispatching the loads and closing the loads out once complete. Billing, payroll, time off management, data entry, problem solving, multitasking, answering phones and communicating with members of the driver management team, other departments and bosses to make sure loads were planned efficiently and executed correctly.
As a team member of Carriage Rehab, my duties included but were not limited to managing patient admissions, verification of insurance, background checks, multiple spreadsheets and reports, marketing, and following HIPAA compliance. Quick decision making in time crunches and making the best possible choices for the current residents and potential patients.
East Bank Center is a small short term rehabilitation facility. My role as the office manager includes receptionist duties, such as answering phones, greeting visitors, directing people where to go within the facility, receiving the mail, updating daily patient and staff census and rosters, entering patients into the charting system, verifying insurances, discharging patients from the charting system and much more. I work with a small management team in the front office to help ensure that quality care is given to each and every one of the facilities patients the moment they come through the doors.
As a member of the nursing team, my duties included, but were not limited to, assisting patients with ADLs, dressing, bathing, toileting, eating, charting, working closely with other aids and nurses to help aid patients back to their best physical potential so they could go back their previous living arrangements.
As a DCFS licensed home daycare provider, I provided daily care for children aged between 6 weeks to 12 years old. Daily duties include, but were not limited to, meal and snack preparation and serving, daily transportation, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all children present, plan daily activities, as well as keeping a well balanced schedule and routine for each child and following the standards and rules of the State of Illinois.

While working there many jobs and skills were acquired; forklift operation, inventory control, data entry, parts inspection, working closely with team members as well as management and outside contractors, always finding new ways to improve my own personal skill set and to improve the quality of work for the company as a whole. Working in the many departments and positions helped broaden my usefulness to the company and ensured my dedication to the job and task at hand.
