Accomplishments

I was experiencing increasing shortness of breath while working at Goodyear. Following my manager's urging, one day I drove to a walk-in clinic instead of going to lunch.


The assistant physician there verified my heavy breathing and informed me that my ankles were swelling. He was sent me to the hospital.


At the hospital, I was told I had fluid accumulation around my heart. And my heart was pumping blood with one third of the normal strength for an adult. I remained at the hospital for the next week. My doctor told me to take off work for the next three months for recovery. So I resigned my position at Goodyear.


Since August, I have made an all out effort in building back my heart and in weight loss. My heart is pumping almost twice as strong and I am breathing normally. My doctor has approved me to return to work.


While working at Jiffy Lube, I accomplished an effective explanation of the two-step fuel induction cleaning service, normally $99.99, then on promotion for $79.99, which improved engine performance and economy. And the customer gained insight to their vehicle's engine.
