- This is a saddlebred barn; My job here was to check waters, feed, clean stalls, check all pastures daily (about 35-40 horses) I would help in the mornings to work colts and ride new horses. This is a lesson barn so I was over some volunteers to help get horses tacked up back to back for lessons on time and correctly, and give any medication that was necessary before a lesson. I would bring horses out for lessons, bring the ones from the arena in, untack wash and return them either to a pasture or stall. I would also check horses and maintain barn when the owners where at shows with their students.
