Implementing the first ever MDM and EDW for the Enterprise

  • Developed the first ever Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) by using Oracle RDBMS technology. Implemented the concept of Master Data, Star Schema and Snow-flake Data modeling techniques, ETL processes, and Reporting. Created many logical and physical data models. Used reverse-engineering

Implementing the first ever Offshore support model

  • Responsible for the multi-level vendor selection process, contract negotiations (SOW), multi-team setup process - onsite and offshore
  • Created brand new help desk setup with 24x7 coverage, creation of SLAs, Metrics, Measures, formalizing source code control, knowledge transition to offshore resources in a phased manner and established SME concept

Venturing into Mergers-Acquisitions-Divestitures (M-A-D)

  • Tapped for a new role in the organization, defined the M-A-D Coordinator role and worked across the IT spectrum in bringing the data from other companies for a quick integration with the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Analyzed, designed, and produced the “Acquisitions Cookbook”
  • Successfully delivered 80 M-A-Ds over a period of 2 years gaining much business knowledge in the process and establishing contacts at various levels. Highly commended for doing something that never got tried before
