Working here I tended to client horses as well as horses in the breeding and outfitting programs. This included feeding, cleaning, preforming basic veterinary care, and training (ground manners, halter training, under saddle work) for horses of all ages and various breeds. I also gave riding lessons to children and adults, guided group trail rides, tacked and prepped all horses for clients to ride, and maintained work areas and equipment.

• As a retail associate I greeted customers, helped locate merchandise, suggested suitable options, and assisted customers in completing purchases.
• Maintained clean sales floor as well as workshop, stocked and faced merchandise.
• As a rental tech I obtained a technician certificate to size and fit ski/snowboard boots, skis, and snowboards.

Given the Palace was a historic, boutique hotel, I was required to pay great attention to detail when cleaning, organizing, and prepping suites and common areas for guests.

• Cleaned and stocked guest rooms and common areas by replacing used towels and linens vacuuming floors, making beds, disposing of trash, and restocking amenities.
• Engaged with guests on room requirements and amenities to promote overall satisfaction.
