I am a dedicated and high-energy educator seeking a full-time Social Studies teaching position. Having completed a rigorous five-year accelerated program at SUNY Plattsburgh, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, I bring a deep passion for history and a modern approach to student engagement.
Currently, I serve as a substitute teacher within the Lindenhurst School District, building upon my foundational experience in the Brentwood School District. During my time at Brentwood, I designed and implemented an immersive "Life After High School" simulation. In this project, students navigated the financial realities of their post-graduation choices—whether pursuing college, entering the workforce, or enlisting in the military. By forcing students to calculate the long-term economic repercussions of their decisions, I was able to bridge the gap between classroom theory and essential life skills.
Beyond the textbook, I am an active and athletic individual—often found on the football field, the ski slopes, or at a ping-pong table. I leverage this energy to build authentic rapport with students, fostering a disciplined yet curious classroom environment. My goal is to use my reliability and organizational skills to ensure every student grows both academically and socially.
